Service Description: Education, programs and support to people living with arthritis

Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP) Arthritis Society- Community-based rehabilitation program * physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers available * individual consultation and group education sessions * topics may include:

  • dealing with pain
  • arthritis medications
  • exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness
  • new ways to be active and minimize stress on joints
  • coping with the emotional impact of arthritis
  • self-management strategies

 Online self-management courses - E-learning programs including:

  • mental health and well-being
  • arthritis and work
  • managing chronic pain
  • navigating your healthcare
  • overcoming fatigue
  • eating well
  • staying active
  • daily living
  • medical cannabis and arthritis
