Service Description:
|
Supports for people living with vision loss * research, public education, and vision health services * rehabilitation therapy for people who are blind or partially sighted * assists with building confidence, skills, and providing opportunities to fully participate in life
Independent Living Skills
- Promotes independence for people with vision loss by developing daily living skills such as safe cooking, personal hygiene, banking, Braille and computer technology

Independent Travel Instruction
- One-on-one instruction based on level of vision, age and goals
|
Low Vision Clinics
- Demonstrations and consultation to help people with a vision loss make informed decisions about the availability, selection, use and purchase of consumer products and adaptive devices
|
Low Vision Services
- Low vision specialists provide services to those who have experienced partial loss of vision to help them make the most of their sight and live life to the fullest
