Throughout the joint replacement process, a range of health care professionals will provide services and supports as you work toward a full recovery.

Hospitals - Joint Replacement Surgery

Community Care Access Centre (CCAC)
The South West CCAC provides telephone information and referral and will arrange a pre-operative visit to determine the services you may require throughout the joint replacement process.

The Arthritis Society
Self-management, education and other supports for people with Arthritis before joint replacement surgery, and after as needed.

Veterans Affairs Canada
Provides treatment and health-related benefits to veterans and their dependents.

Rehabilitation Services
Following your joint replacement surgery and hospital stay, you may be referred to a rehabilitation service for therapy based on your individual needs.

The Arthritis Society provides publicly funded pre-operative rehabilitation clinics and support with restoring or improving health and wellness post-operatively.
