COVID-19 Service Change: Group circles, group ceremonies and student mentoring are temporarily suspended; however one-on-one support is available both in person (utilizing COVID-19 specific protocols to maintain safety) and virtually (online and phone) through St Joseph’s Parkwood Institute and Atlohsa Family Healing Services.

Service Description: An Indigenous-led mobile outreach team that works in-hospital and in the community to provide consultation, assessment, treatment planning/management, discharge planning and ambulatory services
  • Indigenous Elder-guided care and teachings from knowledge keepers
  • traditional Indigenous practices, such as healing circles, ceremony, smudging and drumming circles
  • educational and mentoring opportunities for health care professionals and students

Fees: Covered by OHIP
Application: Referral from a mental health care provider at St Joseph’s Health Care London or through Atlohsa Family Healing Services required
Eligibility / Target Population: Indigenous adults 18 years and older who require mental health and addictions services
