Food Safety - Food safety information * safe food handling courses * food premises inspections, investigates food borne illnesses, responds to food premises related complaints
 
Safe Drinking Water - Public Health Inspectors conduct risk assessments of identified small drinking water systems that service publicly accessible facilities * free private well water testing bottles available at sites throughout the County * provides information related to interpretation of well water sample results
 
Tobacco Enforcement - Enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 through inspections of enclosed workplaces, public places, schools and other places that are required to be smoke, vape and cannabis-free * conducts inspections of tobacco and electronic cigarette vendors to ensure compliance with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, including youth access restrictions, and the display and promotion of products
 
Vector Borne Disease Control - Surveillence of West Nile virus, Lyme disease and other diseases transmitted by various means such as ticks and mosquitos, as well as tick identification
 
Well Water Safety - Free well water testing for bacteria * enforces drinking water regulations (small drinking water systems) * educates on well and drinking water safety
