Service Description:

178-bed acute and continuing care hospital with emergency department * offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, mental health, rehabilitation and ambulatory care services * case managers from the Home and Community Care Support Services South West Region available on site

Ambulatory Care Services
- Outpatient specialist services and clinics providing diagnoses and treatments for various medical conditions
|

Complex Care
- 21-bed inpatient program providing time-limited restorative rehabilitative care to people with complex medical needs * focuses on patient's ability to stabilize, progress, and maintain their activity tolerance and functionality * low intensity therapy over a longer period of tie to meet the individual's medical, physical and cognitive rehabilitative goals * transitional care to support individuals returning to a community-based setting (home, retirement home) or a hospital-based intensive rehabilitation program as appropriate

Critical Care Unit
- 13 beds to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with life-threatening medical and surgical conditions, patients with special needs and those requiring close monitoring and intense care

Emergency Department
- Emergency room care * multidisciplinary team of emergency trained professionals assess and provide treatment and care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries

- Family centered care for families

Mental Health Services of Oxford County
- Schedule 1 psychiatric facility provides observation, care, and treatment * includes emergent/urgent care, centralized intake, psychiatric care, therapy and other specialized programs * team includes psychiatrist, nurse, social worker, recreation therapy, behaviour consultant
