Service Description: Non-residential programs providing short-term counselling and support

Program support may include:
  • assistance obtaining food, shelter, clothing and medical treatment
  • help developing skills for independent living, re-integration back into the home, social skills and problem solving
  • short-term crisis counselling
  • advocacy with community services, including social assistance and other mental health services
  • aftercare and follow-up post-residential care

Fees: Free
Application: Admissions processed through Crisis Intake Team
Eligibility / Target Population: Youth 12-18 years with behavioural and other mental health issues and their families, including gay, lesbian (GLBT2S) youth
Languages: English * French
