Service Description: Program designed to help children and parents make the transition from supervised after school care to safe self-care

Topics covered include: key safety, dealing with bullies, the importance of house rules, how to handle emergencies, what to do if a stranger calls or comes to the door, how to leave for school on time and basic first aid * parents are asked to attend some sessions with their child or children
