Service Description: Companionship, respite care, and emotional support to people and their family/caregivers living with a life-threatening illness at any stage of illness from diagnosis on

Support Through Your Journey - Monthly support for individuals in early stages of a life-limiting illness * 2nd Thu of each month, 1-3pm

Connecting Caregivers - Support group for caregivers supporting someone with a life-limiting illness * offered two times a month

Bereavement support for anyone who has experienced the death of someone close * services can be provided at home, or in hospitals and long-term care homes

  • Healing Souls - 10 week support group held in various communities across Elgin throughout the year
  • clients can also be matched one-on-one with trained volunteers for grief support
  • ongoing grief maintenance group meets every 6 weeks across the county
  • Cooking for One
  • Mindfulness Meditation for Grief, Gentle Yoga for Grief
  • Kids' Circle
