Service Description: Services to help job seekers
  • exploration of career goals/job targets
  • information about different careers and occupations, the local labour market, employment and training opportunities
  • assistance with skills and educational planning and funding
  • information about job opportunities, training and career planning
  • job search assistance, such as resumes, cover letters, interview preparation
  • direct access to employment opportunities through partnerships with employers
  • on-the-job training and/or work experience and support to help maintain employment

Most services are available in group or one-to-one settings * special supports designed for persons with disabilities, entrepreneurs, those without recent work experience and mature workers * services for Ontario Works and ODSP participants and job seekers with disabilities

Employer Services - Assist employers with recruitment and retention needs * work experience hosting positions * advice regarding workplace accommodations and recruiting and retaining employees * assessment and return to work programs for workers with disabilities and injuries * training services for employees: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Expert Customer Service and Cash Training

Supports to Entrepreneurs - Opportunities for those interested in self-employment to access supports that may include direct supports, referrals and micro-finance (depending on eligibility)
 
Career and Employment Resource Centre - Provides job search resources for the general public
 
ClothingWorks - Provides professional clothing for people with limited resources going through the interview process while seeking employment
 
Integrated Employment Services - Services to help job seekers
 
Ontario Employment Assistance Services - Customized services to guide and support individuals with disabilities through the process of preparing for, finding, and keeping a job

Fees: Most programs are free to those who are eligible
