Service Description: Mentoring programs for children and youth, where children in need can form positive relationships with caring adults

Big/Little Mentoring - Matching of screened and trained adult volunteers with children in need * One-to-one traditional mentoring * Couples for Kids and Big Families

In-School Mentoring - One to one matching of screened, trained and supervised adult volunteers with children in the school setting for 1 hour  a week for the duration of the school year

BIG Bunch Program - A group program that provides activities, positive peer interaction and educational outings to children on the waiting list for a match * program runs twice a month

Fees: Free
Application: Parents/guardians can call directly to initiate service * referrals also from schools, health professionals and community agencies
Eligibility / Target Population: Little Brothers and Sisters - Children and youth 6-16 years
Big Brothers and Sisters - Adults 18 years and older with police clearance and character references * must go through a screening and training process
