"About Us"
The House was originally established in 1987 by the Sisters of St. Josephs of The Diocese of London and is now operated by CCLC. Joseph’s House provides temporary accommodation for newly arrived refugee claimants. The staff welcomes people from all over the world who have fled their home countries in fear of persecution and have come to Canada seeking protection. Refugee claimants must go through a process before being allowed to remain in Canada.
